anything that you can connect to business in anyway- paper, pens, 'business" dinners
It's ify to claim home offices… BUT…
if you have a cell phone as well as home phone, you should be able to claim it as 100% business.
office supplies
computer supplies
if you have a single room that's ONLY used to conduct your business, you may be able to claim a % on expenses equal to the % of the total square footage occupied by the room in the home.
You can claim your business website
postage
leads purchased
if you use your car for business, you can claim fuel and % of expenses on it.
If your internet is used for business, you can claim it.
If you have business lunches, you can take that off.
If you travel, you can take a per diem expense.
I also have a home-based business and I claim everything.Phone, cable, a percentage of all bills.Your tax preparer should have the info you need.
