Leverage your past successes and generate more referrals. Ask them a specific targeted question like "Which of your friends or family like to entertain?" or "Who do you know that has a passion for cooking?" When they list friends, ask for some form of their contact info. If you ask confidently, people are less likely to hesitate, esepcially if they were satisfied with their experience with you and the product you sold them.

If they don't want to provide someone's contact info, give them your info again and ask them politely to contact the person and pass it on. Then after a pre-determined amount of time, follow up with your customer to see if they passed on your information to their referral.

Essentially cutlery has to reach the 'home'. If you look at other products that reach the home, you could reach the buyers themselves.
As an example, I might consider Tupperware. They have direct marketers selling their products and it may not be all that tough to touch-base with one of them. They organize product display parties. You could tie up with them either for displaying your cutlery alongside their products or for leads.
Tupperware was only an example that jumped to my mind. I am sure you are the best judge on which product matches best with your target audience.
